The competition “Azerbaijan through the eyes of Russian schoolchildren and students” has been successfully completed

The competition “Azerbaijan through the eyes of Russian schoolchildren and students” was held on November 28 with the participation of representatives of the regional national-cultural autonomy of Azerbaijanis of the Moscow region and schoolchildren of the Dedovsky correctional boarding school. A total of 13 schoolchildren took part in the competition, and each of them was awarded valuable and memorable gifts. This meeting will leave vivid memories for the guys who got acquainted with Azerbaijani music, spent an interesting time and had a fun conversation over a cup of tea.

Then, on December 6, the guests gathered in the new building of school No. 2 in the Vostochny microdistrict of the Istra city district. The school director, Oscar Faritovich Latypov, in his welcoming speech emphasized the importance of such meetings for multinational Russia.

The welcoming words of the Chairman of the RNAA MO Elshan Ibragimov greeted the guests of the competition and filled them with a joyful mood. Rena Gafarli performed wonderful musical numbers that added festivity and delight to the atmosphere of the event. The winner of the competition at the second school was Vera Sidorova, a talented student of 8th grade. Her performance was flawless and won recognition from the jury and audience. Vera demonstrated a high level of skill and amazing charisma, deserving this cherished victory and the main prize – a tablet.

On December 8, members of the jury arrived in the Dolgoprudny city district to hold a competition in secondary school No. 11. The event was joyfully welcomed by the school director, Oksana Smetanina, the head of the Azerbaijani community of Dolgoprudny, Namus Nagiyev, as well as the chairman of the jury, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor Nizami Aliyev . All guests and participants of the competition received a warm and cordial welcome speech from these persons.

The guys congratulated contest participant Timur Ponomarev on his birthday with applause. The film presentation of class 9 “A” student Ayla Khydyrova aroused great interest, but the winner was class 8 “A” student Duygu Gurbanova, who wrote down her essay perfectly and answered all the questions correctly and clearly.

Thus, the competition in Dolgoprudny ended under the beautiful Azerbaijani music.

In line, stood school No. 1 in the city of Dedovsk, part of the Istra urban district. Together with the rest of the event participants, all the guys were waiting for the start of the program, which opened with the screening of a film created by the Mir TV channel, entitled “5 reasons to go to Azerbaijan.” The spectators watched with enthusiasm, absorbing the beauty and spiritual heritage of this eastern country.

And then, singer Andrei Katkov came on stage to please everyone present with the wonderful song “Azerbaijan” from the repertoire of Muslim Magomayev.

We should not forget and pay tribute to the teachers of the Dedovskaya school, Yana Latysheva, Marina Kiseleva and Lyudmila Limarchuk. They did a great job preparing the guys for this competition in the best possible way.

Teacher Lyudmila Limarchuk, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Dedovsk Skuratovich Nadezhda Nikitichna and Lieutenant General Chikovani Vladimir Okropirovich, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Istra Urban District also spoke to the students.

During the competition, a difficult task arose for the jury members. It was necessary to make a choice between Sabina Seyidalieva and Olga Semaeva. Both girls made a strong impression with their accurate answers.

After additional questions, the jury awarded first place to Olga Semaeva

The competition “Azerbaijan through the eyes of Russian schoolchildren and students” has been successfully completed. A huge amount of work was done in advance, as a result of which a new regulation was developed that meets modern standards.

We are grateful to the Ministry of Information and Social Communications of the Moscow Region for their support, as well as the Administration of the urban districts of Istra and Dolgoprudny and the educational and methodological centers of these districts for their contribution.

The competition proved that the project is in demand. Therefore, we do not say goodbye forever, but say “until we meet again, friends!”
