As you know, 2024 was declared the “Year of Solidarity for the Green World” by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Within the framework of this year, the 1st Networking Forum “For the Green World” will be held for the purpose of public support for the state policy conducted jointly by the Youth Contribution Public Union, the Azerbaijan-Turkey Food Safety Public Union and the Food Safety Movement. It is planned to hold a series of events within the framework of the forum.
Asim Valiyev, chairman of the Youth Contribution Public Union, said that as civil society institutions, we highly appreciate the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change – COP29 in Azerbaijan. This is an indicator of the great respect and trust of Azerbaijan by the international community.
The head of the Food Safety Movement, Mahsati Huseynova, said that we will hold the COP29 international conference at a high level, thereby our country, our people will achieve the next great success, the development of Azerbaijan in this field as an oil and gas country, the implementation of projects related to green energy, the creation of green energy types and It will show the world that the transfer of green energy to world markets is currently the priority of our energy policy. 10 thousand foreign representatives will come to our country at COP 29, Baku will become the center of the world within two weeks. According to estimates, approximately 70-80 thousand foreign guests will be in our country during this period.
The declaration of 2024 as the “Year of Solidarity for the Green World” is a first in the world, and it is in this year that Azerbaijan will be able to show its power to the world with such a prestigious event.
