The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment of the Republic of South Africa (CAR) Dion George welcomed the results of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

According to information, 6.2 and Decisions made in Baku under Article 6.4 will enable CAR and other developing economies to start new projects in this area. These projects will support the attraction of investments in “green technologies” and economic opportunities. The decisions are a victory. We understand the disappointment expressed by others.
