There was a presentation about Azerbaijan at the “Friendship Day” festival held in Murmansk

On January 27, 2024, S.M. “Friendship Day” National Cultural Festival was held in “Murmansk Regional Palace of Culture and Folk Art” named after Kirov.
Murmansk Region Public Organization “Azerbaijan Culture Center” Vice-Chairman Fayyazli Mehdi Afiq oglu and representative of the Azerbaijani people for Murmansk Region Natavan Hamzayeva presented a poster (wall paper) containing historical places and national holidays of the Republic of Azerbaijan. During the exhibition, a mini-quiz was held with the guests of the festival, and delicious gifts from Azerbaijani cuisine were presented to the winners.
Also, Fayyazli Mehdi Afiq oglu gave a speech at the festival and gave information about the history and national values of the Azerbaijani people and recited the poem “We are not Azeri, Turk oglu Turkuk” by the great Azerbaijani poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzade in Azerbaijani Turkish. Mehdi Fayyazli was awarded with a diploma and other valuable gifts for this.
