“Social Support to Sailors” Public Union continues the project “From Vocational Education to Ocean Waters” with the financial support of the State Support Agency for NGOs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Our editorial office was informed about this by the Analytical-Information Department of the Public Union. The information says that the project to be implemented is being implemented in stages and the works are producing high results.
Within the framework of the project, meetings of experienced and professional sailors were held with young people who are involved in learning the seafaring profession at the training center of “Caspian Education Center” LLC, which deals with the training of seafarers.
As part of the project, the book “From Vocational Education to World Waters” was published in “Maarif” publishing house.
In order to study and fulfill the profession chosen by seafarers and its requirements, the book includes the International Maritime Organization (IMO) for the safety of seafaring and the prevention of pollution of the marine environment, the international code for the safe management of ships (ISMC) for ensuring safety at sea, accidents or loss of life. , in order to prevent damage to the environment, especially the marine environment and property, the supreme body of the CIS – the 17th session of the Assembly of the participating countries of the organization, made important decisions that determined the further role and policy of the CIS.
The compiler and printer of the book is Faig Balabeyli, the ship captain of “AXDG” JSC XDND, the editor is Shahlar Mammadov, the proofreaders are Sayali Vasifgizi and Aytekin Hamidli, and the author of the photos on the cover is Turab Mammadov.
The advisers of the book, which is intended for our sailors to master their chosen profession perfectly, are Shahlar Mammadov, deputy head of the Maritime Safety Department, long-distance voyage captain, and Mazahir Niftiyev, long-distance captain, director of the Ship Traffic Management Center of the Azerbaijan State Maritime and Port Agency.
The head of the project is the chairman of “DSD” BU, poet, ship captain Faig Balabeyli.
